•John Kelly - Private

1st LINCOLN...Captain Powell's Corps served from the beginning of the war until the fall of Fort George on May 27, 1813. The corps served the guns from Queenstown to the mouth of the Niagara River.

THE CORPS OF ARTICIFERS (THE COLOURED CORPS)...
*George Flemming - Private. All the officers were white.

BATTALION OF INCORPORATED MILITIA...These were made up of men from other regiments. Andrew Kelly - Private. (Captain Abraham Rapelje's Co.) Died Sep. 8 1813.

CASUALTIES...John Kelly, 5th Lincoln, Private. Captain Hatt's Flank Co. Wounded between Sept 25 and October 24, 1812.

There are quite a few casualties, many are listed as wounded, not killed, but only this one Kelly. Too bad there is not more to go on, their home towns would have helped a lot but at least we know the district by the regiments name. I 'm sure there must be more data being held somewhere, perhaps in Regimental Archives.
