Dreams
By Benjamin E. Neil
A darkened day of gray skies
inside his mind, the world dies.
A dream scape of imagination
vast in feeling, but losing cohesion.
Magic powers inside a dream
meaningless once reality redeams
Inbetween a dream and the world
is a place were he dwells.
A hall of mirriors
reflecting songs
a brick wall red
standing tall
he walks slowly through the hall
trying not to slip and fall.
the gray dark skies is where he belongs
the magics died a long time ago
the faeries left now no more
only the dark, the grey, and light
control the paths unto his life.
