HRDC Programs and Services for Employers

The Electronic Labour Exchange Job Matching Service
Employers build a job profile based on the skills and experience that an employee would need for the job, and that profile is matched with profiles entered by job seekers (over 60,000 employer profiles have been entered in the ELE so far!).

The Employment Insurance (EI) Program
Contains the latest changes to Employment Insurance Benefits, and information on the Record of Employment (ROE).

Labour Canada
Labour Canada is part of HRDC and is the federal equivalent of the Ontario Ministry of Labour. The goal of the Labour Program is to promote a fair, safe, healthy, stable, equitable and co-operative work environment for federally regulated workplaces.

HRDC Labour Standards
This site contains information on federal minimum wage, holiday pay, vacation information and other regulations.

The Human Resource Office for Employers in Ontario
A free site developed by HRDC, it contains information designed to help employers manage the human resource side of their businesses.

The National Graduate Register (NGR)
For Employers the NGR is a high-traffic World Wide Web-site catering to Canadian candidates, recent graduates and employers. Sign on as an employer user of the NGR and you will get a free company profile posted on the site. Using the NGR, you get to enter the search criteria you deem crucial for your available position: education, skills, experience, aspirations.

WorkInfoNet
