THE McINTIER / McINTYRE etc
SURNAME IN UPPER CANADA

I've only just started trying to set up these surname pages. If you are interested enough to check them out, does that mean that you possibly have ancestor info or resources that you would like to have listed on these (so far - nonexistant) pages?

I may some day set up pages something similar to my 'Kelly' pages with resources and "ancestors 'n researchers'" pages. As long as your ancestor lived in Upper or Lower Canada for some time during the 1700 - 1800's then I am REALLY interested in their origins! Send me an e-mail message so that we can get started on sorting out the various family groupings under these surnames! If you know of any other site containing these Cdn families let me know - I haven't found any yet during my surfing!

This site shall provide a place to post a brief note on your McIntier (etc) ancestor in Upper or Lower Canada during the 1700 and 1800's. (You may perhaps wish to provide your mailing address for those without access to the internet, or incase your e-mail address becomes unavailable at some time in the future).

If you would like to have your info posted here, or if I have placed your information on this page, and you would rather not have it posted; please let me know

Does anyone have any info on Margaret McINTYRE married Robert JACKSON on April 4, 1908 at Camlachie, Glasgow. "I am just starting to grasp at straws".

Mary Elizabeth McINTYRE (1873-1938) born P.E.I., Canada; died Providence RI.(also lived Bangor, ME). Parents: Barnaby McINTYRE (1826-1912) and Ann (Mary Ann) GILLIS (1836-1912) who had a farm on Lot #3, PEI. Seeking info on parents of Barnaby and Ann and siblings of Mary (I have one so far, Catherine McIntyre who married Ronald MacINTYRE and lived in Providence, RI). This family was of Scotch descent and were Catholic. Thank for any help you can give. I am actively searching the islandregister.com site on PEI.
