If you find this list of any use let me know. I would like to establish a list of pioneer Kelly families and their researchers in an effort to 'connect' the various lines. If you already have the info on your Kelly "couple"; maybe you could send me the basic info and save me the effort of finding them on the film.
At present this is simply an index or list of "Kelly" individuals, marriage dates and marriage certificate numbers as listed on the index films. I have not yet researched the actual certificates on the 'marriage films' to extract the info on parents, spouses etc. Until I extract all of the pertinent information for each year the records shall remain listed in order of 'Certificate Number'. If you locate any errors or ommissions, please notify me; the correct information would be appreciated. (I am a rank amateur; learning as I go)
PERSONAL NOTE: I started checking all available Ontario Marriages records in order to locate the first marriage of my grandfather William F. KELLY to Margaret CLARKE (she perished in 1890, in a fire in a Montreal asylum in which 86 women died.); the marriages (and location) for some of his siblings (John, Michael, Thomas and James) and to further my search for the origins of his parents Daniel KELLEY and Maria FLEMING, both born in Ireland but married in Ontario in 1845. I eventually hope to be able to extract the info on all of the persons listed here. If you are lucky there may be entries for 'John, Michael, Thomas and James' in varying years until I locate my 'great-uncles' (my computer didn't pick up any of these names with an inital or second name - phooey!).
