Comments:

The Jesse McInTire family arrived in Upper Canada in the late 1700's. Born in Oxford or Charlton, Worcester, Massaschutes in 1746, Jesse died after 1826 in Montague County, Ontario. He married Martha Lamb on 13 Dec 1786 in Charlton, Worcester, MA. On the USA 1790 census, they resided in Ballston, Saratoga Co, NY; homestead in Canada, Lot 20, Conc 2, Montague Twp, Lanark Co, Ont.

"Jesse was among the Minutemen who marched on the alarm of april 19, 1775. He encamped with Captain Samuel Curtis's company at Roxbury until 26 Dec 1775 when he was drafted into Captain Abijah Lamb's company and served at Horse Neck under colonel Converse. He was in Ballston, Albany, New York".

Chloe McIntire, born in Worcester, MA and died in Wolford Twp, Grenville Co, Ontario; married 'Priest' William BROWN, ca 1790 in New York state. They homesteaded in Wolford Township, Grenville County, Ontario. Their children were: Erastus (married Catherine Chipman); William Jr (married Roda Wiltsie); Jesse (married Annis Haskins); Reuben (married Elizabeth Evans); John (married Isabella) and Mary Ann (married John O'Critchet).
