Alberta
Unlike the former Ontario program, photo radar is not a provincial domain, but a municipal one. Calgary and Edmonton's police have used photo radar for years now. I've also heard that Lethbridge was considering implementing a program of their own in the new year, but I haven't heard anything more about it.As of yet I have precious little information on these programs, despite the years it has been in use. If anyone has any information out there, I would be happy to hear from you. I'm hoping to get some more information on Alberta, and when I do I will post it here. The best I can do for the moment, is tell you I have a link to the Calgary police service. They kindly list the locations where they will be set up and is updated weekly.
Calgary and Edmonton both, are currently using the Multi-Nova photo radar units. However, Calgary now will be purchasing ATS-PR100's and Edmonton will more than likely following suit. More information on these units can be found in the B.C. section of this site.
