THIS I BELIEVE

The soul that dwells in me shall never die.
For it is my eternal gift from God...
Secure, fool-proof and indestructible -
Eternal as the Universe itself.
No one can mar it's pristine purity,
Or ever desecrate its holiness.

With my whole being I believe in this:
The earth, we live upon, is but a school -
Equipped with ample opportunities -
Where I can learn the lesson set for me.
No one is responsible for my deeds.
The burden of my doings is my own.

There are no accidents - no one is plagued
With circumstances plied by fickle fate.
The rules of life are made the same for all.
No one escapes the onus of his deeds.
In the long run of time the Lord Himself
Shall equalize the doer and the deed.

This I believe: The Universal Law
Is always just, eternal and supreme.
No one is ever cheated - or denied.
That in the Everlastingness of God
Only my very own shall come to me...
As a beautiful gift of love from Him.
