I love books that are set in Scotland, and this one was excellent. It's about Lauren MacRae who becomes the leader of her clan after her father is killed. She goes to her enemy, Arion du Morgan for help in protecting her homeland from invaders. They both join up together to fight the invaders, even tho people on both sides are against the two teaming up. They both love the land they are protecting, Arion will risk everything he has to protect what is his...including Lauren. Lots of excitement in this book . This is the first book I have read by this author, and I am looking forward to reading some of her other books.

Lady Taras is a healer, she makes potions and medicines for people. When the love potion she made for Sir Osric turns him into a frog, the King comes up with a brilliant plan. He will get Taras to make some more of her potion, and give it to their most feared enemy, a Viking enemy by the name of Cynewulf. But when Taras gets there and meets this enemy, she finds out that he is not what she thinks he is and is having some trouble giving him the potion, espically when she finds out that the potion is a sham and never transformed anyone into a frog. Taras must rely on another kind of magic to when over the Viking....love! This was a good book, and I think you will find it a good read.

Joey (Josephine) McBride owns a vacant building that Samuel Kincaid (Black Owl) wants to rent out and start his veterinary hospital. From the first moment he saw Joey, he was drawn to her. But with him being half-white, he didn't expect much a chance with her, or with his hospital. Joey was instantly drawn to Black Owl, and didn't think it was right for the two of them to get involved. But the more time she spent with him and the better she got to know him and his family...she had fallen in love with him. She couldn't belive it when Black Owl told her he felt the same way about her. But she knew the people in town and her family would give them a hard time. Can she just give up and walk away from him without even trying? Can love really conquer all? Very good book!

Lily doesn't fit in with Neville's world, she has no idea on how to be or even act like a Countess, so she leaves Neville and lives with his Aunt as her companion, who teaches Lily everything she needs to know to get along in society. When she sees Neville again, she still loves him but wants a him to be with a woman who will make him proud. All Neville wants is Lily..he will never stop loving her, but can he convince her that she is all that he needs? This was a really good book...I couldn't put it down.

But Iron Hawk can't deny that whatever he felt for Eden is long gone, and she can't deny that her feelings have gone either. Will they both make the move and try to salvage their relationship? Very good book.

Will it be? Very good book.

Renald de Lisle is the King's champion and killed Clarence of Summerbourne. Renald comes to Sommerbourne and takes over the castle and by the King's command must marry one of the 3 unwed women inside the castle. Claire stays behind as her aunts leave the castle as hostages until the wedding is over. Claire hopes to talk some sense into Renald, but that doesn't happen and she finds herself married to him. She agrees to the marriage to save her family from being thrown out with nowhere to go. She finds herself falling in love with Renald, but when she finds out (after the marriage) that he is the one that killed her father, she wants the marriage annulled. Renald agrees to give her a month to think about things. Will she stay married to him...even tho she loves him? This was a very good book, and Jo Beverley is becoming a fav author if mine as well. Well worth keeping and re-reading when the mood strikes :)

She gets kidnapped from a Officers Ball and she finds herself face to face with the infamous Glen Lyon...the one man her fiance is searching for and wants to stop. But the more time she spends with the Glen Lyon, the more disturbing things she is finding out about her fiance, and the more she is falling in love with the Glen Lyon. Will she find happiness??? Read this excellent book and find out for yourself! This is one of my fav authors and I love this book.

But when the Sheik starts to fall in love with Bryna, and his nephew has not paid him back from selling his camels for her, will he take her and save her...will he marry her?? This was a very good book..but then I love stories about harems!

He is she thinks she wants in a man. She then meets a mysterious man by the name of Trevelyan, and can't stop thinking about him. He shares her love of history and seems to really pay attention when she talks...and not at all like Harry. He is the most fascinating man she has met, and spends alot of time with him. When she finds out about Trevelyan's past, will she forgive him? Or will she marry the man her parents want her to marry in order to keep her sister from being poor? I love all of Jude Deveraux's books, and I am never disappointed in any of them when I get to read them.

Ranulf de Warbrooke is also known as the "Black Lyon" he was the greatest warrior in all of England. He meets Lady Lyonene and they fall in love. Ranulf was married before, and his first wife was unfaithful and very heartless and uncaring. When Ranulf and Lyonene get married, he has doubts about his wife, and wonders if he can trust this one or are all women the same like he thinks they are? Time will tell..and Lyonene must prove to Ranulf that she is not the same...and that she truly loves him. I love Jude Deveraux books....I am never disappointed in any of them. This one is a great book!

Blair and Houston Chandler are twins and it is very hard to tell them apart. Blair returns to Chandler, Colorado for her sister's Houston's wedding to Dr. Lee Westfield. Houston wants Blair to switch places with her so that she can go inside this very expensive house and meet the man who is very rich at a reception, so Blair agrees to go out with Lee. Blair is also a doctor and her and Lee have alot in common. Blair goes out with Lee, mostly to help out her sister and also to see if maybe she is wrong about Lee. What she doesn't know is that Lee planned on seducing Houston..and ends up seducing Blair instead! Once Lee finds out that the twins had switched places, he becomes upset and demands that Blair marries him instead, and Houston plans on getting married to Taggart Kane (the rich man she went to meet). Blair and Lee do have alot in common with them both being dr's, and Lee tells Blair about the women's clinic that he wants to open up. Will Blair follow her heart and marry Lee...or will she try and make her sister Houston see that she should marry Lee instead of Taggart. Very good book, but then I love Jude Deveraux!

She loved him with all her soul and being. Her parents wanted the engagement kept a secret till she had her "Season" in London, then her and Clayton could be married..but that was a year away. Clayton promised to her parents they would wait, so he kept his distance from Marisa. Marisa was worried that Clay was having second thoughts about their marriage, and when she asked him some questions, she broke off the engagement, thinking he wanted to marry someone else. He didn't marry anyone, and joined the Army 5 days after they broke up. It's now 7 years later, Marisa still loves Clay, and when she hears someone at a party talking about killing him, she goes to Clay and tells him what she has heard. He isn't married either, and has closed off his heart and feeling to Marisa. Can she convince him to take this threat seriously? Can she convince him that she still loves him and wishes that she married him 7 years ago? Will Clay take what she heard as serious? Very good book!

She finds herself staying at the Jacaranda Bend Plantation..and falls in love with Gilbert Lindsay. Is he the man who will help her....or is the man who can destroy her..and killed her father? Very good book!

Her husband Billy was hurt in the war, and is in a wheelchair. She has to take care of him, plus her family....so she is doing what she has to do to get the money. When a friend of hers boyfriend is accused of murder, Daisy helps Detective Sam Rotondo prove his innocence. Daisy isn't too thrilled tho when Sam wants her to "spy" on the family who are her best clients...but like the Detective said..."fourtune telling is aganist the law". Will Daisy be able to prove her friends innocence? Will she still be able to make a living as a "medium" without Sam finding out what she does?? And to make matters worse...Sam has become very good friends with her husband...what is a girl to do? Very good book...I really enjoyed reading this one!!!

Once there...he finds out that she is pregnant. But it is too late, cause he has fallen in love with her and he wants her to stay with him. Maggie has also fallen in love with Falcon Hawk...but she is scared. Will he still want her once he learns the truth about her and the baby? Very good book!!!!

He seems to have some mystical power over her and she doesn't know if what she is feeling for him is real or some kind of hold that he has on her. Christian Hawksblood is a Prince and Knight Templar and has seen the Lady Brianna in a vision and knows that he is meant to be with her..even tho she is betrothed to his brother. He just has to convince her that they are meant to be together...and what she is feeling for him is real, and it's not some mystical power that he has over her. This is a very good book..I really enjoyed reading this one.

Ian has to go to London, (he was a spy) and he gets accused of being a traitor. When he doesn't come home, she goes to London to find what happended to her husband, and to clear his name. What she finds will devastate her, and only with Ian's love will she be able to see things thru, and be reuinted with him once again. Very good book...it made me cry.

He ends up falling in love with Lousia, but she has made it very clear on what she thinks of Army men. How can he tell her that he has fallen in love with her thru her letters she wrote to her husband (who died in his arms). Can he make her believe that he does love her...and to believe in Angels? Very good book!

Dake talks to the mother long enough to get her name, and where she was from in order to take the baby there when she died. Dake comes across the first cabin he sees...and there he meets Cara James, who is a dollmaker and on her way to California now that there is nothing left for her in Kansas. Dake convinces Cara to take care of the baby as he makes his way to the war-torn South. By the time they get there...Cara has fallen in love with both Dake and the baby. How will she let them both go and head out to California when this is all over and done? Very goood book! I love the way Jill Marie Landis writes!

Things seem to be going his way when a friend of his from a while ago stops by to visit with his sister, and the friend Eric is sick, Rafe offers his friend and his sister Brenna to stay at his place until Eric gets better. Rafe goes on a carriage ride with Annabelle and her mother when he stops by his house to show them where he lives..and totally forgets that Eric and his sister are staying there. The door opens and Brenna is standing there, only in a dressing gown(she just got out of the tub). Annabelle and her mother scream and leave the house. Rumors start to go around London. Rafe tries to mend things with Annabelle, but she wants nothing to do with him. The only thing that Rafe can do is to offer to marry Brenna..just to save her reputation as Rafe feels it his fault for the rumors going around in the first place. After awhile, Brenna agrees to marry Rafe, for she has fell in love with Rafe and she knows that his heart with always belong to Annabelle. But Rafe starts to feel a very strong attraction to his wife, and starts to fall in love with her, when Annabelle comes back into his life and claims that she loves him as well. Who will Rafe end up with? Annabelle or his wife? This is a very good book! I was glued to it till the end.

When he hears what the wagon master has told her...he "pretends" to be her husband. Jessamyn agrees with Tony's plan...after all, what harm can it do to pose as a married couple? Jessamyn finds herself falling in love with Tony, but the closer they get to California...brings a end to her and Tony. Will she be able to let him go when the time comes? Will he be able to leave her? Very good book! I really enjoyeed reading this one!

Alexandra Rubliov has refused to marry and this has frustrated her father. He creates a "long-forgotten" agreement and tells his daughter that she has been promised since childhood. She is not happy about this engagement, so she plans to act so outrageous and so unlady like, that her bridegroom will call off the wedding and she will be free once more. Count Vasili Petroff is not happy about this long forgotten agreement and he goes to meet and bring Alexandra back to his homeland for them to wed. But he too has plans...and they are not to far off from Alexandra's way of thinking. Both Alexandra and Vasili have the same way of thinking. This book has some very funny things happen when they both start acting the same way. The storyline in this book kept me hooked and I had trouble putting this book down. Johanna Lindsey is another of my fav authors.

Lilliana tries everything in her power to get some kind of reaction from her husband during the day, but nothing she does gives her the reaction that she wants or needs. She finally finds out the truth way Adrian married her and why he treats her like he does, and she learns about his mysteries....she loves him, but will it be enough for her to stay with him?

But Armand has a secret..and he isn't sure if there is room in his life for anyone until he can come to grips with his past...but will it be too late? Will they be able to let each other go...once he finds out all about his past? Very very good book!

Will she be able to forgive Pierre and stay as his wife? Will he tell Monique the one thing she wants to hear? Very good book!

Will Martin be able to save her from the Germans? Will anything ever be normal again? Very good book! I was glued till the end!

But when Hetty is confronted with Richard's mistress and baby...she finds herself feeling very jealous, and she realizes that she loves Richard..and does want to marry him. Is it too late for Hetty to show Richard that she does love him and want to marry him..and what about his mistress and baby? Hetty soon realizes that everything is not what it seems to be. Very good book..I was glued to the pages till the end!

Will Susannah believe who he really is...will she help him get to England to clear his name. Can Susannah believe that he does love her (as she loves him) or is he using her to get her to rip up his papers so that he can be free to go back to England? Very good book.

Daniel MacGregor has 3 granddaughters, and to his thinking, they are taking too long to get their lives together (ie settle down and marry and have children). He gives them a helping hand and goes about finding husbands for them. He does really well...but when his granddaughters find out what he is up to...will they put an end to his games? Very good book..made me laugh and smile.

On the ship, she meets Jonathan Dillion, who is Captain of the ship. She falls in love with him. Jonathan needs Rebecca...he needs her so that he can resuce his sister and baby in China, and Rebecca would be the perfect bait...espically when he finds out that her Uncle is the one holding his sister. Will Rebecca help Jonathan with his plan to save his sister? Will Jonathan be able to let Rebecca go ahead with his plan, now that he has fallen in love with her...and will Rebecca believe him when he tells her that he does love her? Will Rebecca be able to trust him when she finds out the truth? Very good book!!! I really enjoyed reading this one.

Can Virginia save Quincy from being hanged as a spy...can they both work together and help defeat the "Red Coats"? Is love enough to save them? Very good book!

This is the first book I have read by this author, and I look forward to reading her other books. I really enjoyed this one.

Will Iaian be able to forget the woman in England who scorned him when she learned the truth about him....can Cecile break down the walls of hatred that he has built up around his heart...can they be happy and find love? Very good book.

He doesn't believe her story about not being a prostitute, but that she was locked up in the attic until she came to her "senses or starved" ...whichever came first. There is something about Christine...so Simon takes her to his house instead to jail with all the others. He passes her off as a "cousin" till he can get her settled into a job as a governess...or married off. He takes her to his friends Margot's house and she teaches Christine how to talk and walk like a lady. He leaves her there for 3 months, but he still can't get her out of his mind. He goes to the school and brings Christine back with him. He can't let her go...and yet he can't bring himself to love her. When Simon realizes the truth about Christine...will it be too late to ask for her forgiveness and for her love? Very good book!! This one is a definite re-read over and over..and you will still want more!!

Is there anychance they will be together? Very good book!! I can't decide which one I like better...Tempting or this one. They are both on my keeper shelf...and I will be re-reading them over and over again!

Matt Cordell is the ranch's foreman and he has been in love with Jessica for a long time and he longs to tell her how he feels. Navarro awakens desires and makes her feel like no other person ever has. They both help Jessica fight to keep the ranch, and both want her for themselves. I love books that keep you guessing as to who everyone is going to end up..it keeps you on you're toes guessing. This was a good story and I throughly enjoyed reading it. I have been a big fan of Janelle Taylor for a long time.

He is struggling to get back the love and acceptance from his tribe and to prove to them that he is who he says he is...but it's not easy. He meets Dawn (he knew her from childhood) and she helps him to gain the love and acceptance from the tribe....but they must also try and ensure the life of his people and tribe, so he goes to the Fort dressed as a "white man" to gain some information that will be useful to help out his tribe and he gets a copy of the treaty that was signed between the white people and the Indians. Together him and Dawn make plans for their life together, but there is someone in the tribe who doesn't want Cloud Chaser and Dawn to be together. They want Cloud Chaser out of the picture and will do anything to get him out of the way. Very good book!

They end up getting married. When they survive the fire, the both find out that neither one is what the other thought they were. Will they stay together...will they forgive each other? Can they both help each other when the time comes? Very good book.

Thea is now left with a choice...stay with the Sheriff...or leave to go back to her home, only to be miserable without him. Can the Sheriff love her like she loves him...will she get him to see things from the other side of things? This is the first book by this author..and I thought it was very good! It is a definite on my keeper shelf...pick this book up, you won't be disappointed!

Her Aunt forces her to tell her whose baby it is, and before Heather knows it, she is married to the Captain. He is not very happy about being forced into marriage, espically when he is supposed to be married when he returns home to his plantation in the Carolinas. Will Brandon ever find out the real reason that his men "kidnapped" her off the streets in London...will he finally learn what she is scared to tell him? Will Heather prove to Brandon that she does love him, and wants a real marriage? Very good book!
