The idea came up when I had previously created and self published a book titled, "Cajun Sexy Cookin'" that featured women in the swamp, hunting fishing and cooking. Women who bought the book for the men in their lives, asked me when I was going to do a cookbook that featured handsome men. I thought about doing a cookbook that features Cajun men in the swamp wrestling gators and stuff, but I saw how popular the "Bachelor" hype was on TV Networks and decided to do a Bachelor cookbook first and make it appeal to people nationwide. The Cajun Guy thing will be my next project. I wondered how to come about all the bachelors for this book, so I joined the online dating services and instead of asking the guys for a date,I asked them to appear in my cookbook as a handsome bachelor with a recipe. Some of the men thought it was the best pickup line they've ever read in their messsage box, but most of them took me seriously. I asked them to send their material for the book and it took me about two months to design it.
